THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (B) COURSE |
|
The Intermediate course (B) comprises 700 hours of theory and practice training. The program offers a study in depth of the following topics: |
- Basic theory of TCM.
- Human body anatomy.
- Theory of the meridians and acupoints.
- Method of Chinese massotherapy manipulations.
- How to provide clinical treatment to patients.
- Combined techniques of massotherapy.
- Study and analysis of massage techniques with DVD lessons.
- Elective courses (Introduction to Reflexology, Swedish massage, Thai massage, etc.)
- Clinical practice.

TRAINING TARGET |
|
The target is to gain proficiency and autonomy in the full body massage practice; to familiarize with the respective norms; and to be qualified to work at the clinic and the saloon. |

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPED |
|
- Knowledge in depth of Chinese massotherapy techniques.
- Knowledge of the physiology and the anatomy of the nerves system and of the blood circulatory system.
- Learning of the basic theory of TCM.
- Learning of Tuina massage manipulations.
- Knowledge on how to prepare medical oils with essence and Chinese medical herbs infusions to be used in the treatment.

TECHNIQUES DEVELOPED |
The student has to know:
1. The four methods of diagnosis:
- Observation.
- Auscultation and smelling.
- Interrogation.
- Pulse felling and palpation.
2. The massotherapy treatment adequate for the most common diseases.
3. The skills for full body massage and feet massage.
4. Combined techniques of massotherapy.
5. Study and analysis of massage techniques with DVD lessons.
6. Clinical practice with a professor.

The Intermediate level requires that the Beginners level has previously been completed. Therefore the student has to have passed the first level exam in order to be admitted at the second level. |
